Comfort Fire Department is a 9s ISO rated department that provides fire suppression as well as first responder medical services.
After the acquisition of Richlands Rescue Squad in 2019, we now have the capabilities to provide many technical rescue services including vehicle extrication.
Comfort EMS operates as an EMS basic unit certified my the NC Office of EMS.
